Characterizing Crisis Service Use among the Commercially Insured Population

Project Description

This study aims to characterize the use of behavioral health crisis services among commercially-insured adults using commercial claims database from 2017–2023. This study will describe demographic and clinical characteristics of commercially insured crisis service users, and in doing so, will support state-level policymakers and regulators in engaging commercial payers to finance community-based mental health crisis care.
